1 What does Nickel or Black mean? - This refers to the color of the connector shell.
2 Type of Patch Panel? - Solder Point patch panels will have Speakon on the front and male spade connectors on the rear. Solderless patch panels will have Speakon on the front and screw terminals on the rear.
3 What does D Series or G Series mean? - This simply refers to the connector mounting holes used in the panel. The D Series type is a 3 hole design and connectors mount to the panel with machine screws. The G Series type is a 5 hole design and connectors mount to the panel with machine screws.
