Why do we list hole size information for our products?
For those that want to build their own item, or alter a stock item this information is important.
For instance if you wanted to have a patch panel with 3.5mm bulkheads and BNC bulkheads - the hole size information on our website would let you know that you would need to start with a panel that has 1/2" D holes as that is the only common hole size between both 3.5mm & BNC bulkheads.

To the left is an example of how the different type of connector shapes fit in a round hole. In this type of scenario there is nothing to prevent the connector from spinning - this is fine for some connectors, but not all. |

To the left is an example of the D and Double D type connector in a D Shaped hole. The flat of the connector installs against the flat of the hole to prevent spinning. |
